Are you ready to start taking control of your body and of your life? Well rounded healthy lifestyle practices are necessary for feeling the best in our bodies. This program honors a realistic approach to reach your personal goals. It will meet you where you are and will continue to allow a lifestyle that is important to you. I love this because I believe that when we do not have to sacrifice the things we enjoy doing is when we are able to sustain a healthy balanced lifestyle, and isn't that why we commit to our health- to be able to continue doing what makes us happy into our golden years?

This program will provide for you a whole experience. Living healthy is a continual lifestyle commitment to yourself and it's never too late to start feeling better physically, mentally, and emotionally.

The same guidance and structure as my one-on-one Woman's Health & Nutrition Program, but in a small group setting, thoughtfully designed to create habits that are realistic, sustainable, and truly supportive of long-term results.

My Why

Back in early 2000's I poured myself into a daily yoga practice to help heal from a heartbreak that left me feeling incredibly insecure and unworthy. I had been a long distance runner for years previously but this was when I first learned how important the connection of body movement is for our mental health and for healing. It has continued to be the biggest driving factor for why I've continued a daily exercise practice ever since.

About six years ago chatting with my girlfriends, many of whom were entering their 40's, I started to realize just how many insecurities and pressures we were all feeling as women beginning to age in a society that favors youth and is constantly bombarding us with anti-aging "remedies". This made me so sad because I know as much as we tell ourselves these pressures don't matter, they do. They've been ingrained in us our whole lives.

​Through the years I've exercised for a million reasons but really I exercise because its been the most positive constant in my life. It gives us the confidence to take up space in a society always trying to convince us women to get smaller. This was "my why" of why I began teaching and this is "my why" for why I have begun coaching. My goal has always been to uplift women in the best way I have known how. 

Why Nutrition Matters

While daily exercise and an active lifestyle are necessary, it's important to remember exercise alone is not enough for optimal health. Our nutrition, what we consume and choose to put into our bodies, plays a large role in our mental and physical health, especially as we get older.

I was raised eating organic vegetarian food and living an active lifestyle. I have always thought of myself as being healthy but in my late thirties I felt everything start to shift. All of a sudden I started gaining weight and felt inflammation in my joints even though my regular workout routine and diet had remained consistent and working for me for the previous two decades. I didn't want to accept the changes I was feeling as just a normal part of getting older. I took a deep dive into researching perimenopause symptoms and holistic solutions, quickly realizing there isn't much information out there. This led me to the Girls Gone Strong coaching program which is focused specifically on women's health. I learned right away small ways to change my diet.   

Learning about what we should be doing through perimenopause, the period 7-10 years before menopause, has helped tremendously and I've been feeling stronger and more energized than I have in years without feeling like I've had to sacrifice anything. When we feel good, we are able to move through our days with more ease. We are able to control our reactions better. We are able to give more and smile more. We like ourselves better. We appreciate the beauty in moments and the joy in life. 

I have found a personalized diet for me and what feels best in my body. I've learned which foods I can eat and which ones to steer away from. My diet follows the morals that are important to me. We are each unique, with our own belief systems, our own genetic make ups, our own stories and histories. What we each need will vary and I am here to help you discover how to feel the best in your body.
